We started this company as a result of doing missionary work in Costa Rica with TACTICA Ministries. Since then it has grown from a single focus approach of donating dogs to mission families. To a multi prong approach in which we providing leadership training to youth through the use of dogs and also by providing service dogs to veterans, children and other qualifying organizations.

Why we do what we do...

Imagine your family is called to serve overseas. Your husband is involved in outreach that takes him away from your new home, sometimes for a day, and sometimes for weeks. You then realize, “Wow! I am really an outsider in an area that is not familiar and often not so safe.” So not only do you have to adjust to a new culture, learn a new language, and deal with transitioning your kids; you also need to manage your insecurities and those of your children.

That is where Tactical K9 Mission (TaK9Mission) comes in. We come alongside mission organizations to meet the needs of the family. The way we do this is by training Labs, German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois in protection/home use, tactics (organizations that work with foreign police forces), Search and Rescue (SAR) or Therapy.

How can you Help?
The only way we can continue on with this charity is with the help of people LIKE YOU who are willing to donate funds that will be used in purchasing the dog, training the dog, providing supplies (food, equipment) for the dog, and transporting the dog to its new family.
